PLAYER CARDS (AKA: MEMBER PASSES):
Player cards are identification cards. They are required as team identification for all PYSA events. All players, coaches, assistant coaches & team managers must have member passes to be a team representative during competition. New add requests that are in the OYSA office by noon on Wednesday will be completed by Friday. Player cards will be sent to the club registrar, who will sign them before giving them to the Head coach of each U7 – U11 team. All clubs will receive player cards for their players. The 2007-08 player cards will be valid until August 31, 2008.
VISTA SOCCER PLAYER CARD POLICY:
VSC Registrar will sign the back of the cards and distribute to all VSC Head coaches with instructions on how to assemble before the first game of the season.
The head coach will assemble the cards according to the instructions also provided. We strongly recommend laminating them and placing them onto a ring.
Player cards are valid for one year and the coach is responsible to save the cards until September of the following fall season or to return them to the Vista Soccer Club Registrar. For example cards issued for fall 2007 soccer season are valid until August 31, 2008. PLEASE Coaches should NOT dispose of player cards at the end of the season. Many players will need their cards for spring or summer soccer.
REPLACEMENT CARD POLICY:
If you need your player card the first thing you should do is contact the head coach of the players fall team. If the head coach did not return the cards to the club registrar or keep them in safe place then the coach and/or player will need to contact the club registrar in writing to request a new card. Requests should be sent to vista.soccer@yahoo.com. Include the participant’s full name, fall team name, age and division. In most cases requests submitted before noon on Tuesdays will be filled by Friday. The cost for a replacement card is $15. Checks made out to Vista Soccer Club must be delivered to the club registrar before the card will be sent to the player. NO EXCEPTIONS.
MICROSOCCER PLAYER CARDS:
Kindergarten players also get player cards however due to the fact that they are not check before each game the Vista Registrar will hold them for the year.
